It has to come to an end some time... at midnight Tuesday, the
party's over and they bring in the horses, trash trucks, and police and
clear out the crowd. For those of you who don't know, the Mardi Gras
celebration lasts for 40 days ending with the big bash on Fat Tuesday.
For those good Catholic kids, you have 40 days to redeem yourselves by
giving up something like drinking and partying. We could always come
back for Jazz Fest but it wouldn't be the same so let's set our sights
on Mardi Gras 2002! Save your money and vacation time and Laissez
les bon temp rouler in 2002. This has been quite an memorable Mardi
